Charles A. Huckabay is a senior shareholder in Siemion Huckabay. Mr. Huckabay has extensive experience representing major insurance carriers in complex, high-exposure insurance coverage cases, under a multitude of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, professional liability, commercial and personal automobile, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, commercial property, and homeowners. Mr. Huckabay has also specialized in the defense of high exposure claims for personal injury protection (PIP) benefits, as provided by the Michigan No Fault Law (the most liberal PIP benefit statute in the country).
Mr. Huckabay received his B.S. degree from the University of Detroit in 1971. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1974. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Huckabay joined the law firm of Plunkett, Cooney, Rutt, Watters, Stanczyk & Pedersen, P.C., and ultimately become a shareholder. In 1981, he resigned from Plunkett, Cooney to become a founding member of Siemion Huckabay.
Mr. Huckabay has been a frequent lecturer for the firm’s insurance clients in personalized seminars. He is a long time member of the Michigan bar, and the American Bar Association.
